There are a couple of major returns for which today is a filing deadline.
(1) If your corporate return was due March 15th and you filed for an automatic 6 month extension, today is the final day to file the return.
Final deadline to file corporate tax returns with December 31st year ends if an extension was requested. (Forms 1120, 1120A, 1120S).
(2) If you filed for an automatic extension on a partnership return (due April 15th), your return is due today (partnership receive a 5 month automatic extension).
Final deadline to file partnership tax returns (Form 1065) if an extension was requested.
